Teaching

David specializes in teaching music of all genres. His teaching style focuses on the importance of building a solid piano foundation along with having a knowledge of music theory, improvisational skills and scale/chord progressions. David enjoys passing on his musical knowledge to his students, some of whom have gone on to become professional musicians. David is available for in-home private lessons, and in-studio lessons at Elefante Music & School for the Performing Arts.

Alexis Cardwell – Lessons Director, Elefante Music & School for the Performing Arts

When I first met David and started playing music with him, he was very young. My expectations for what to expect from him as a musician were low. From day one he proved me wrong. Even as a teenager David had the ability to listen to the others in the band and weave his music in seamlessly. He was, and is, a creative man. I am a bass player and knowing your piano man is listening to you and reacting to you is priceless.
