1980 US Junior National Ice Dance Champion, 5 Time National Competitor and US Figure Skating Gold Medalist. Named on the Official list of US Figure Skating Champions. Performed with the 1980 US Olympic Team.
Professional Skating Career
Starred in numerous professional ice shows as a single skater and ice dancer. Competed professionally in the US Open Professional Figure Skating Championships.
Coaching Career
Former students include National, World and Olympic competitors, and Team USA Synchro.

Testing & Partnering
Partnering is a key component in testing, and bringing skaters to their highest test and competition levels. The foundation of partnership is based on connection, trust, guidance, and shared energy. David is known for his partnership skills and creating a comfort zone for his partners. This zone provides an atmosphere to thrive in, partnering and training numerous skaters to gold medal status.
Power Skating
David trains players of all ages and levels to improve skating methods, including power, quickness, and edge stability on the ice. As a former hockey player, he combines dynamic hockey skills with a nuanced understanding of edge work. Pro hockey players recognize the level and value of this training, and bring their kids to David for lessons.
Synchronized Skaters
Partnering skills, artistic choreography, performance skills, and team building are all areas David has been sought after in the development of synchro teams. His expertise in assisting the local New Jersey team helped to achieve Team USA status.
Competitive Skaters
Training competitive skaters to reach their dreams is a joy for David. He shares a wealth of inside knowledge about achieving the highest levels of competitive skating. Formerly reaching championship levels with his skating partners provides David with a great deal of insight to share, helping to navigate the complex competitive path for the up-and-coming skater.
